How to move data from a Palm handheld to a PC

Question: I use QED on my Palm device to edit documents. How do I get these documents back to my PC? –Anon.

Answer: QED is a document reader and editor for Palm handheld computers. It doesn’t have a built-in file exchange mechanism, but Visionary 2000, the company that makes it, does have a program called QEX that allows simple swapping of QED files between Palm devices and a PC. More information on QEX, a downloadable trial version, and pricing is available at http://visionary2000.com/qed/qex.htm.

The company also offers a program called PalmDocs, which enables you to directly load and save standard document files created on your Palm device into Microsoft Word 97 and Microsoft Word 2000.
