Kernel 32 update for Windows 95

Question: Some time ago you wrote about a Kernel 32 Update, available from Microsoft. The address appears to be non-functional now, and I think I’ve searched the entire Microsoft site trying to find the item! Do you by any chance know where I can find the Kernel 32 Update now? By the end of the day, my computer memory seems to be pretty poor, so I think this could be the answer to my problem. Thanks for any assistance you can give me. –J.C.

Answer: Microsoft is always overhauling their web support area. So the slippery little file has moved to their Windows 95 site. It’s worth installing if you run out of memory after being connected to the Net for a while. Don’t install it, though, if you have Windows 95 OSR 2.
